Every eye is on you as you walk down the aisle. You're feeling as confident as you are radiant because you know your ceremony is going to be perfect, after all, you designed it yourself.
It seems like only yesterday you met with your officiant, looked through her sample weddings, answered her questions and thought about every aspect of your wedding service in detail. Her support, experience and “whatever makes you happy” attitude allowed you and your partner to dream as big and as freely as you wanted to. When you went home and had more questions, she was there to respond to them and nothing slipped through the cracks.
The first draft wasn't perfect, but it was exactly what you needed to inspire more ideas and changes and your officiant took all your comments without hesitation or complaint and turned it into something wonderful.
Last night's rehearsal was a little hectic but your officiant was able to answer everyone's questions (all according to your preferences, of course) and gently guide your wonderful friends and family though the staging of the entire ceremony, the receiving line and the transition between the ceremony and the reception. By the end of the rehearsal, all of your concerns were addressed, everyone knew what to do and that little worried voice in the back of your mind was quiet for the first time in months!
Today your officiant arrived at the venue early and lent you her confidence and support before heading off to greet your guests and answer any last minute questions anyone might have.
Now, as you glide down the aisle, you know that every word of your wedding ceremony will be meaningful and poignant because you've read and approved them all. Still, hearing them read aloud, in front of your family and friends, while looking into the eyes of your beloved, they sound fresh and new. They may even move you to tears, even though you promised yourself you wouldn't cry.
After the ceremony, there's no rushing off to sign the paperwork, you take your time and enjoy the compliments and congratulations of your guests. Any complicated or lengthy questions about the service itself can be directed to your officiant to handle while you continue to greet and celebrate with your guests.

The complete package is my full-service, no-distractions, no-holds-barred option for couples who want no limit on what I can provide for them.
Design your dream ceremony with as many extras as you like, for as many people as you like. Pick and choose from my many samples and/or have me custom write the exact ceremony you want. You have my unlimited phone and email support to answer any questions about vow writing, cultural customs, traditions and...well, anything wedding ceremony related. If I don't already know the answer, I'll find it for you.
Edit your ceremony as much or as little as you like up to the day of (and even during) your rehearsal. You'll approve every word before I speak it and avoid any unexpected or unpleasant surprises (though I do reserve the right to share a clever ad-lib or two, should it seem appropriate. I'm only human...).
A complete rehearsal is included that covers all of the entrances and exits for your family and bridal party. We go through the basics of the ceremony, but never the complete wording, only the “cues” for actions and/or responses. These “run-throughs” (typically 2 per rehearsal, but sometimes 3 if the actions are complex) are designed to answer everyone's questions so they (and you) can feel confident about what's expected and relax for the remainder of the celebrations.
I book no other ceremonies on dates with complete packages scheduled, so you'll have my full attention and be able to complete your paperwork at your convenience. I am available to offer a blessing before your meal and/or before your exit, if you desire it.
In total, the complete package includes:
- An in-depth, in person design interview with both of you that covers all aspects of your ceremony
- Creative support and experience helping you imagine a dream ceremony that fulfills your (and your family's) personal, emotional and spiritual needs
- Access to my vast online library of ceremony, vow, readings and other samples
- A ceremony rough draft emailed (or posted, if necessary) to you for your comments
- Unlimited email and phone support from the day of booking until 2 weeks following the ceremony
- Help finding and choosing the perfect music, readings and vows, if desired
- Research into cultural traditions and rituals that might complement your ceremony
- Editing of the ceremony as many times and as extensively as required to create the ceremony that is perfect for you in every way
- A second in-person session to discuss ceremony details, if desired
- My mileage to your venue anywhere within a 3 hour drive of Lansing, Michigan. (Venues over a 3 hour drive away may incur extra travel and lodging fees)
- A generous 2-1/2 hour block of time for your full rehearsal
- Experienced, hands-on rehearsal management covering the basics and all questions (without revealing all the juicy bits of your actual ceremony!)
- A mini-training session for inexperienced ushers, if desired
- Attractive, readable copies of any readings or vows that ceremony participants may require
- Full cooperation with your photographer, videographer, musicians, DJs and/or other vendors including briefing them on photo opportunities, performing sound checks, allowing flash photos, adapting ceremony staging, etc.
- Exclusive booking for entire day of wedding
- Arrival at venue 1 hour prior to ceremony starting time, or as desired
- Greeting of your guests as they arrive, if desired
- Unflagging confidence and support, no matter what challenges or delays may arise
- Performance of your wedding ceremony
- Participation in the receiving line following the ceremony, if desired
- Completion of your marriage license paperwork at whatever point following the ceremony you desire
- Informing and directing your guests, if necessary, as you desire
- Blessing before the reception meal, if desired
- A customized, handmade keepsake wedding day book including a complete copy of your ceremony script
- A personalized keepsake marriage certificate, suitable for display, in your wedding or preferred colors
- My attendance of your wedding reception if, and only if, desired
- Filing of your marriage license by certified mail. The tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as I send out your license.

The complete package total fee starts at $500 for a simple, local ceremony and increases with complexity and distance.
