Extensive research into cultural or religious traditions to help round out your ceremony choices.
An in-depth, extended rehearsal/ education session, either earlier in the day of the ceremony or on an evening before the big day.

I realize that not all couples are looking for an elaborate, custom ceremony, so I am currently offering a second package for those who simply want an Officiant to sign their marriage license.

Simple "Off the Rack" Ceremony

This option is only available for couples planning small weddings (two attendants maximum) or couples who hire a professional wedding coordinator to perform their rehearsal.
Reservations for this package will only be accepted within 90 days of the ceremony date, if Sister Kya is available.
Pre-written, 5-10 minute ceremony
(your choice of Non-denominational Christian, Civil/ Atheist, Spiritual, or Nature-themed/ Pagan)
Completion and filing of your Michigan marriage license

$50.00

(+ Mileage for all locations outside the Charlotte, Michigan city limits)

In addition to the above, overnight accommodations for Sister Kya in a modestly priced motel are humbly requested, if :

  • 1) Ceremony is more than 100 miles from Charlotte and scheduled to
    start before 11:00 a.m.
  • 2) Ceremony is more than 100 miles from Charlotte and scheduled to
    start after 7:00 p.m.
  • 3) Ceremony is more than 100 miles from Charlotte and the
    rehearsal is scheduled for the night before the ceremony
  • If conditions 2 and 3 apply, accommodations for two nights are requested.
